The inside scoop!

The original owner owned an elevator company and kept his office in the dining room. He had a "demo elevator" across from his office to show his clients how they operate. Soon after I purchased the house in 2005, I graduated with my bachelor's in English at Northeastern University in Boston. My graduation gift to myself was a Bullmastiff puppy. 13 years later I can look back on the successful breeding program that was established on this property. Hence where my Kennel name comes from, B'mew Bullmastiffs. We've taken so many beautiful photos of the dogs right here on this beautiful property overlooking the hills and mountains.

It is truly a dream of a home to decorate for the holidays and have parties or events! I have so many great memories of Christmases past, warm and cozy by the fire… Special events like my graduation party from Northeastern with an American literature theme, and my sister's surprise 40th birthday party with an autumn fair theme. Church group events and scavenger hunts, plein air painting, family dinners and sunbathing on the front lawn… So many memories!
When I first saw this house I fell in love and knew right away that it was the right one for me! I've molded it into the rustic country, colonial style that I wanted. There were so many other things that I wanted to update. But this chapter of my life must close now and I'm excited to embark on a new journey, open up a new chapter. On August 26, 2017 I married the love of my life and we're hoping to buy a home of our own, start a family, and begin the next phase of our careers in a much warmer climate. This house has been very good to me. To me it wasn't just a house but my heart. I truly hope the next (third) owner that it is passed down to loves it just as much as I have!

A couple more updates to the flooring

I tore up the ceramic tile in the entryway and put reclaimed barn wood wide plank flooring.
I tore up the white carpet in the master bedroom and put wide plank flooring as well.

Lastly, I tore up the dark blue carpeting in the basement and opened it up with this oatmeal colored carpet.

Breathtaking tri-Mountain and reservoir views!
